Just thought I would stop by and give you another laugh with the picture that drives you crazy!!! Don't worry, January will be here before you know it and you can choose a brand new pic. I wont mind if you change it sooner!!!

I hope the writing and the photos are getting better everyday!!! I have been making daily additions to my site, even working on some real blogs. I had a comment on one of them about "Tribes". Of course, it was my husband that wrote it, but it seems like he has done some research on tribes and so have a lot of other people. It's always great to find out when you have a great idea that you are not the only one, but not the greatest feeling when you think it was your idea first! None the less, we can still work on our own tribe in our own way!!!

I hope this holiday season is a little better when you are wearing your Santa Hat!!! Be Merry and happy blogging!!!

Santa Hat Pics from Twitter Profiles - by T.S. Elliott

These pics are by Tribe cofounder
T.S. Elliott on her blog:

I'm just being a good little elf and posting them here for her. (Carlin)

This was a really fun project. When I got 1,000 followers - I told them that I would put Santa Hats on their profile pics if they wanted!!! Here are a few of the funny Santa Hat pics!!!

It seems like there are a lot of profiles with the hats now, it is really catching on!!! You should show your holiday spirit too and be part of our Tribe.

Twitter Tribe

This was a fun idea that started during my tweet rants and escapades!!! Carlin and I discovered that we had a similar interest in the term "Tribe". I am sure that a lot of people also share this interest with us. Carlin is writing a book and it sounds like he needs support and reassurance!!!

Personally, I am all over the place. I help companies with their social media strategy as a consultant while also trying to maintain my own websites, networking groups and find ways to work on my dreams and ideas!!! All this while constantly doing research, trying new things and working hard to catch up with myself and everyone else.

Because my background is in Psychology and Sociology, it is easy for me to train clients in ways to use social media techniques to help their relationships with their customers and investors. I am not a techy, that is my husband. We are a husband and wife team. He is the code lover and master of building websites who needs my flair for design.

I think this Twitter Tribe blog is a great place to build our Tribe!!! We are connected already, but one of the reasons twitter is so great, is that we don't know much about each other!! So, if you want to actually say something longer than 140 characters - come on over. We are not spammers, just people having conversations and trying to make our Tribe the most successful. Together we can do great things and lean on each other.

Excited and Scared and Dizzy!

Oh, and hungry too. Been an interesting day. I'm writing a book. Its official. I have a writer helping me. Its just all sort of hitting me all once. I mean, its not an accident or even a new idea for me. But after 15 years, I think I'll get this thing rolling and finished. 15 years. The book is based on my diary I kept during Desert Storm. I typed that diary on a 8088 processor PC that had a 30 MB hard drive. Not GB. MB. Like you could back up the whole hard drive on a couple boxes of floppy disks. Well, more than a couple since it had the old floppy drive, 360K 5 1/4 drive, but I digress as usual. Going from doing nothing, or thinking about doing something, to actually DOING something is pretty exciting. But it involves change, and commitment, and accountability. Thats why I'm writing it here. On a blog. That potentially everyone in the entire world can read In reality, my mom will read it. Maybe some of my Twitter Tribe. Someone else maybe gets lost. But life is about potential, and action. And cheese burgers. but that will be another post for another time. Yes, I did mention being hungry :)

Desert Storm Letters
I've got a blog started, go check it out. Soon I'll be asking for help in promoting the book, I'll probably use some kind of silly contest too... there's a story there, maybe I'll tell you later. Or you could even figure it out if you digg deeper...

I am planning to give some proceeds of the book to some very worth while organizations, and I'll name them very soon as well. To me, sure, making some money would be nice... cheese burgers... but its more than that.

Ok, must go eat.

Welcome to the Twitter Tribe :)

Ok, Not sure what this will become, so be sure to follow and see! I'll probably post some articles here, I may let other cool people into the Tribe, and as we go, I'll let each tribe member introduce them selves.

I'm going to call this a sand box, a place to play with settings and ideas. If we break it, oh well, we start over. If the internet breaks, well, sorry, it was probably poorly designed by VP Gore anyway right? ha ha
